Preparation time: 3 minutes
Rest time: 2 hours or more
Cooking time: 15 minutes
Serves: 4
Here's what you'll need:
Ingredients:
-4 salmon fillets, skin on
-6 tbsp Teriyaki sauce
-1/2 teaspoon oil
- black pepper
Method:
1.Preparation:
Put the spoonfuls of teriyaki in a container (preferably a glass one) and then plunge the salmon fillets into it on the side of the meat. You can marinate this for 2 hours as long as a night.
2.Cooking:
Heat a frying pan over medium heat, with a little oil (1/2 teaspoon). Put the salmon on the skin side, cook for 5-7 minutes. Then, put the minimum heat on, turn the salmon on the meat side and gently remove the skin (start with the thinner side). Grill for 3-4 minutes to your taste and then turn the salmon over again. Return to medium heat and cook for about 5 minutes. Pepper each salmon at the end of cooking. Serve hot.

Recipe Tips:
You can add honey to the marinade at the beginning if you like the sweet/salty mixture
Thank you. It's on my shopping list.
Hello Alison. Thank you for your feedback. Teriyaki is a sauce of Asian origin and is a sweet and salty all-purpose sauce. The sauce is sold in the "Asian cuisine" section of supermarkets. It is easy to find it. Teri means "shiny, glossy" in Japanese and yaki means what is toasted.
Here are the ingredients it contains: Soy sauce (Water, Soybean, Wheat, Salt), Wine (contains sulphur dioxide), Sugar, Water, Alcohol vinegar, Salt, Spice extracts, Onion powder, Garlic powder.
It is delicious as a marinade for meats, fish and vegetables. If you don't know it's time to try ! ;-)
Looks delicious. Could you tell us where to find teriyaki sauce and what it contains. Thanks!
